We accept a change-of-mind or size exchange return for a store credit strictly under the following conditions:
The items must be:
- In as-new, unworn condition
- Free from any marks, stains, glitter, pet hair, makeup, perfume, fake tan or body odour
- Unwashed and unaltered
- With all original tags attached
- Neatly folded & Returned in the original packaging
- Lodged within 14 days of delivery
Garments that do not meet these standards will be declined and returned to the customer at their expense. We enforce these return standards strictly. It is the customers responsibility to read and understand our store policy before purchasing.
BODYSLATE does not offer monetary refunds for change of mind or incorrect size returns.
To start a return please email us hello@bodyslate.com.au to obtain the return address. You must include a note inside your return parcel with your order number so it can be identified.
Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend tracked shipping, as BODYSLATE is not responsible for lost return parcels.
Original Shipping Fees
Original shipping charges from the initial purchase are non-refundable.
If a return brings the final order value below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the store credit.
Approved Returns – Credit Note or Exchange
If your return is approved:
- A credit note or exchange will be issued.
- Item must be in stock to process an exchange.
- If unavailable, a credit note will be provided.
- Credit notes are valid for 3 years from date of issue.
- Any discount code used at time of purchase will not be reactivated or available for reuse.
- The credited value will reflect the amount paid after discounts.
Sale & Discounted Items
Sale items and items purchased during promotions are not eligible for return, store credit or exchanges.
Faults or Major Failers
If you believe you've received a faulty item or an incorrect product, please reach out to our Customer Service team within 14 days of receiving the item at hello@bodyslate.com.au.
Be sure to include a description and 2–3 clear photos showing the issue so we can assist you.
If the item is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, we’ll happily provide a free return shipping label and offer you the choice of a refund, store credit, or a direct replacement.
If the fault is not clearly identifiable from the description and photos provided, you are welcome to return the item to us for a physical inspection. Should our team confirm the fault upon review, all associated shipping costs and product compensation will be covered. If no fault is found, the item will be returned to the customer at their expense.
After 30 days, faults are considered wear and tear and cannot be returned.
Please note: Crease lines from folding during transit are normal and will disappear after washing. We are unable to accept returns for items that have been damaged due to washing, improper care, or general wear and tear.
